Perles USA Warranty TERMS

All sales are final, no nonwarranty and/or service returns will be accepted. 

All Perles of Switzerland brand power tools have been thoroughly checked and tested according to the Perles of Switzerland Quality Assurance System standards and conform to full ETL approvals and certification.

Perles of Switzerland offers a warranty for its power tools and Perles USA provides this warranty for its tools in compliance with the following conditions:

1. We assure warranty according to the below mentioned conditions in the form of repair of defects during the warranty period due to a defect in material or manufacturing.

2. The standard warranty period is 12 months, the extended warranty period is 36 months.

The warranty becomes valid on the original purchase date, proven by the date on the original invoice.

• The tool must be registered within five weeks of purchase and the extended warranty period only applies to tools purchased after May 1, 2005 to no more than 36 months (3 years) from the date of purchase.
• Batteries, chargers and accessories delivered with the tool are not included in the extended warranty period. Registration for the extended warranty is possible only on the internet address www.perles.com.
• Printed warranty confirmation and the original invoice with the date of purchase serve as proof of registration and eligibility for warranty.
• The warranty documentation is also verification of Users acceptance of the terms and conditions of the warranty as confirmed during online registration.

3. The warranty excludes:

• Parts that are subject to normal wear and tear and/or damage to the tool caused by natural wear during normal use.
• Defects resulting from:
  - not following manufacturer's instructions,
  - improper or unintentional use,
  - defects that appear due to abnormal conditions in the environment or inadequate working environment,
  - defects caused by overload or inadequate power,
  - insufficient maintenance or care.
• Damage caused by use of non original parts or accessories.
• Damage caused by use of non Perles supplied or approved paddles.
• Tools that have been tampered with, modified or supplemented.
• Modifications, service or repair by unauthorized agents or entities.
• Cosmetic or other deviations of quality that do not hinder the tool's performance and/or work capacity.

4. We reserve the right to repair or replace at our discretion returned units in compliance with the specific terms of the warranty (if necessary, with the next model).

All returned or replaced tools or parts become Perles USA property.

5. Any warranty claim must be submitted within the warranty period. The entire tool must be brought or sent together with the warranty card and its original invoice (with visible purchase date and product ID) to the vendor or authorized service shop (the list is on the warranty card). When filing a warranty claim under the 36-month warranty period, you must also enclose the registration confirmation.

Tampering, modification, partial or complete disassembly of Perles tools voids any and all written or implied warranty claims.

If returned to a vendor or an authorized service shop by mail, all transportation costs and risk of transport are the purchaser's responsibility.

6. Other claims that deviate from Perles USA's right to repair defects on the tool.
